If you travel and use a public rest room, better pack a disinfectant wipe with you and clean the toilet seat before use. Never know who or what kind of person sat before you.

Funny you should mention that. A local news radio station had a doc from the U of Washington yesterday, talking about that same thing. He said the toilet covers many public restrooms provide are ‘too thin’ to protect against monkeypox. But he also said that to get it from a toilet seat, you’d practically have to immediately sit on the seat right after an infected person, and they’d have to have an open sore on their backside.
He did say that a disinfectant wipe would do the trick to get rid of it.

(Now, watch for a nationwide run-on disinfectant wipes like there was on TP for the Coof.)
