Tank losses are sexy but may not the main thing.
Numbers I’ve seen on average russian troop losses are all over the map.
Have you seen any numbers that you consider to be kind of sort of reliable/accurate?
If you were to promote a different measure of Russian losses as a measure of Ukrainian success—besides territory regained—what would that measure be? Would it still be tanks?
Pentagon estimates 80k killed/wounded.
But add in Wagner, DNR/LNR and MIA I see over 100k.
I like to use tank kills as a measurement of the war.
Why? Because of the photographic evidence used by ORYX. It would be impossible to use KIA/WIA because we won’t have photographic evidence for 80-100k.
