This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it is not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

Ukraine Situation Report: U.S. Sending More Rockets As HIMARS Achieves ‘Rock Star’ Status
U.S.-supplied rocket artillery systems gain a cult pop-culture following in Ukraine as they are used to pound Russian positions.
https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/ukraine-situation-report-u-s-sending-more-rockets-as-himars-achieves-rock-star-status
Excerpts:
Ukraine will receive 75,000 rounds ... However, as M31 GMLRS rockets are being expended at a high rate in the east and south of Ukraine, concerns are growing as to the stockpiles of these weapons and the ability of the U.S. and NATO to keep up with Ukraine’s wartime demand for them ... So far, the U.S. has donated or promised about $8.8 billion in security assistance to Ukraine ... each guided rocket costs about $168,000 ... the HIMARS system has supplanted Saint Javelin and Mr. Bayraktar as the cult favorite weapon, getting its own song, Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” with the meme: Exit light. Enter HIMARS. Exit Russians who already sleep with one eye open ... Excalibur rounds have been provided in past aid packages.
WiU Commenter:
HIMARS strikes:
1. Makiivka, Donetsk Region - Oil storage facility with Russian fuel is on fire.
2. Beryslavskyi, Kherson Region - Series of loud explosions ... target unknown as of yet. Approx. 10 km east of Nova Kakhovka Bridge, on the north bank of the Dnieper.
3. Ostrov District, Kherson Region - Series of explosions. Locals report that one of the explosions was one of the loudest of all time. Located 4 kms west of Kherson City, on the north bank of the Dnieper. This is the area with 2 harbors and the dockyards the Russians recently took control over.

••WiU is traveling, so short update today. We don’t know if we’re going to be able to do update tomorrow. If things really started developing in really negative way, we’ll definitely provide update.

Summary:
Ukrainian defenses west of Donetsk were breached by village Pisky by Russian troops
Key areas:
- Izyum bridgehead: no changes
- North Donbas area:
Territorial losses by Ukrainian forces, Russian side claims capture of village Travneve, part of Bakmutske, and Berestove
- Donetsk West: Loss of village Pisky - Kherson bridgehead: no changes.
1. Kharkiv: No changes.
2. Izyum bridgehead. No changes.
3. North Donbass:
Ukrainian troops lost ground in many areas on the frontline; no confirmed loss of villages. However, Russian troops claim capture of village Travneve near Dolomitne, village Bahmutske near Soledar, and Berestove.
••Russian troops are attacking to to gain control of Soledar. They gained some ground so they really getting to the outskirts of Soledar at this point. fighting is going on in the village that’s next to Soledar.
There are also reports that Russian troops almost gain control over Barista. Russian troops also attacked towards Ivana Darika without much success.
South of the northern Donbas section front line; there are a lot of problems for Ukrainian troops here. They are coming closer straight east of Bakhmut as well; also Russian advances towards village Kadama; the salient has become bigger.
There’s quite significant losses on this entire section of the front line for Ukrainian troops.
4. West of Donetsk:
Ukrainian defenses were breached in village Pisky by Russian artillery firewall.
6,500 152-mm shells per day for 6 days. (Edit: LR artillery and 39,000 shells.)
Ukrainian troops are retreating in the northern (Vodyane) and western direction (Pervomayske).
••Things here also pretty bad.
Russian troops managed to capture the majority of Pisky and essentially breached Ukrainian defensive positions. They were pretty well engineered and entrenched with bunkers.
Russian troops accumulated a significant number of artillery with probability 100 cannons per 1km and most of them are (LR)152mm. They basically created the moon landscape, inflicting very heavy losses on Ukrainian troop and disassembling all of the defensive positions.
There was a calculations from one of the Ukrainian soldiers who said they they would get about 6,500 shells per day at their position in Pisky. The area is completely destroyed.
The Russian infantry moves in, mops up remaining resistance which is almost at that point non-non-existent.
That’s why we’re making this update because we would like to highlight the situation that the Russian artillery machine is still working successfully; those attacks against them ammunition depots are not achieving their goals.
They may be delaying this attack by a week or so, but nevertheless it happened and it was successful.
Now the Ukrainian defensive position has been breached and this opens up opportunity for Russian troops to exploit and attack towards with Vodyane
Ukrainian troops are withdrawing. This is going to be pretty huge breach in Ukrainian defenses and most importantly this area was well fortified and it could have withstand the attack, if there was support from Ukrainian artillery which, from the report of this soldier, the Ukrainian artillery support is non-existent
There is no counter battery fire and this is obviously a problem at the Ukrainian top level command. All of their artillery is under their control.
The Ukrainian troops have excellent self-propelled howitzers - Krabs, PhZ 2000s, Caesars that could be easily brought in into this area for counter battery fire.
They could easily pick up Russian artillery because most of the Russian artillery is stationary; they’re not self-propelled howitzers and are stationary. It is actually a WWII type of artillery. It’s not mobile; it’s the way Russian artillery works: they tend to stay in the same position for really long time, close to each other in a line. The reason they don’t change is because the skills of artillery crew crews are not there.
They don’t have the ability to act independently: so each cannon cannot really work independently. They work in groups because there is shortage of skilled artillery officers.
They are easily picked off, if you do it right. Why this is not being done ,is a big question; we don’t want to go into this conspiracy theory theories, but it does look very uncomfortable, just to say it very diplomatically.
(Edit: One of the possible reasons, from various comments, is that the Orcs have ‘air superiority’ in the under 3,000 meter range - with Orlan-10s and jamming - at least over their own lines and partial control over UA lines.)
The whole point is now that Russian troops have an open road to to attack in northern direction without much standing in their way.
Ukrainian troops suffered heavy losses, the way they were fighting the holding disposition was to plug the holes with the bodies of the soldiers. This attack has been going on for about six days until the positions were breached
Russian troops going to be attacking towards the sky like north west; the goal is still remains of Divka.
They are creating a difficult and uncomfortable position for Ukrainian troops around the individual and eventually this can be some kind of salient and Ukrainian troops will be forced to withdraw.
This is the problem with not regular soldiers on the ground, because the do sacrifices; this is a problem somewhere at the command level.
We don’t want to bring up all of the stories about Yermak and his role and everything, but it it becomes more and more clear that there is a problem somewhere.
5. Vugledar: No changes.
6. Velyka Novosilka - Gulyapole stretch of frontline. No changes.
7. Kherson bridgehead: No changes.
••Ukrainian troops are trying still trying to target those ammunition depots. The problem is that Russian troops are able to bring more ammunition and they may be delaying in their attacks but doesn’t solve the problem.
The real solution is attacking the bridges attacking the ferries, attacking their pontoon bridges.
The opportunity is still present for Ukrainian troops on the Kherson bridgehead, if they continue systematically destroying the supply for Russian troops, specifically bridge and ferries that will eventually yield results.
Another DPR dog is dead.
Ukraine SitRep - On The Ground Report - Ukrainian Frontline Collapses
[New from Moon of Alabama]
Below is a slightly edited machine translation of a piece which appeared yesterday on the Ukrainian side
The piece was promoted by Yuri Butusov, a well known Ukrainian military correspondent. It is originally a social media post by someone who was on the frontline in Pisky, immediately northwest of Donetsk city.
Good morning ZZpeedy! It’s your favorite Dirty RuZZian here. I see that you’re knocking on PIF’s door trying to wake him up with you reply-count-pumping comments. Keep it up because I enjoy a good laugh.
And I thought St. Javelin had been over the top in sacrilegious absurdity.

Prior to the invasion, Russia was estimated to have 2,800 tanks in total inventory. 1,000 tanks would be roughly 1/3 of their tank forces. Makes the threat of attacking Finland or any other country with conventional forces a bit of a paper threat.
And keep in mind that absolutely none of this equipment is going to be replaced with new stuff. At best it’s going to be ancient things pulled out of museums and cold storage that will be put into battle. Case in point where we are seeing T-62 and T-34 tanks going into battle.
T-34!!!?? Where did you see that being used on the front?
Makes the threat of attacking Finland or any other country with conventional forces a bit of a paper threat.

Especially since that would mean leaving the rest of their troops totally without tanks. And potentially the resat of their borders unguarded.
There were a couple pictures on here a month or so back. Not being used in combat (at least not that I know of) but still being used for barricade duty and stuff like that.
