It makes you a realist, seeing the degeneration of newspaper ‘news’ turned to propaganda. Four or five billionaires own the newspapers and control what propaganda you are fed.

May I make a suggestion. Using a large piece of foam-core, gator-board or even stretched canvas allows the spill-over to build up over time and can result in some nice abstractions. Using plastic tarps allows a light-source behind it to produce transmissive light effects that can, at times look like stained glass with the right lighting. Just be careful to use LED lighting and don’t get them too close to the plastic - they can still get hot if they’re turned up too high.
Back on subject - canceled my subscription 15 or 20 years ago. It was full commie way back then. Last one I ever bought was the early in the morning of November 9, 2016 after staying up all night and finishing a bottle of champagne. Forgot what I paid for it but the headline was priceless !
