Why should Putin let her go? Biden has been out there trashing him on a daily basis, blaming him for inflation and high gas prices, and at one point said said that he’s got to be thrown out of power. Biden is providing Ukraine with weapons that are being used against the Russian military. Putin knows that if he releases Brittany Griner, Biden will take a victory lap and say that he got him to back down. The longer she stays locked up, the worse it will be between Biden and his base, who feel that Slow Joe isn’t doing enough to bring her home. Putin knows this, and will continue to let Biden twist in the wind.
I hope the Russians tell him to pound sand, and that Griner just had 10 more years added to her sentence.
