Great song.

For some reason though, whenever I heard the song on the radio back in the 1970s, I thought they were singing "Medieval Woman" in the chorus as opposed to "Evil Woman."

Someone once asked John Lennon what he thought the Beatles would have sounded like if they had stayed together and kept recording into the 1970’s. He said they probably would have sounded like ELO.

I love the original radio airplay '70s version with its big orchestral sound... but this acoustic, stripped-down version is equally great.

I got to see Jeff and the "new" ELO in 2019. Excellent performance in every way; I can't recall every seeing a happier concert audience.
