Key sectors of Russian industry are breaking down under the weight of import and export bans, deficits of spare parts and materials, the closure of foreign markets and the freezing of financial transactions. Reports are emerging of problems in everything from trucking to the production of milk cartons, as companies struggle to sustain operations.

Will not support West sanctions against Russia because its against its economic interests. Position as diplomatic peace negotiator between Orcs and Ukraine. Only negotiation was in Istanbul.

••Bridges:
Orcs hit bridge near hydropower site in central Ukraine (Cherkasy). Hit railroad section of the bridge (Hyw H-16) and damaged it - can likely be fixed quickly.
Shows the Orcs are seriously considering destroying bridges across Dnipro River to hinder transportation of ZSU troops and equipment to Donbas region. Attacks may accelerate - to eventually cut Ukraine in half making supply to Eastern half impossible.
Destruction of major dam at Kremenchuk could create huge floods killing thousands - could be domino effect all the way to the Black Sea.
••Belarus:
Army not willing to attack Ukraine. 3 Spec Ops brigades willing: 500-1700 troops each. Also 1 Mechanized Brigade - 3000 troops. 8000 willing troops to put on front line - only about 4000 trigger pullers. Very small number to put on front line. Chances of Belarus joining are low.
••Russian Economy:
Air cargo dropped 75% in first 3 months of this year. Air transportation essentially grounded. Showing record losses industry-wide.
West blocked Russian sale of gold to west. Now India will buy it. Same policy mistake as the oil policy. It backfires.
••What Ukraine can do to counter Russian Artillery:
Ukraine finally got some of the best artillery systems. If the ZSU uses these systems to strategically and systematically destroy Orc long range artillery (of which they have relatively few 203mm and 152mm artillery), they can easily take out the shorter range systems because the SR artillery will have lost the cover of the LR systems.
Can be used to grind to a halt Orc attacks. Without massive artillery, ZSU can then have a great advantage. ZSU weakness is counter battery fire - need to begin hunting Orc LR artillery in systematic way, rather than just responding.
ZSU does not have enough LR artillery to cover entire front line, but they could consolidate and concentrate on sections of the front. Pieces need to be organized, with whatever UAVs and counter battery radars they have, and tasked it with this specific goal.
Without using this sort of system, ZSU will, guaranteed, lose Lysychans’k without question.

A clear pattern month to month - Tells me that the Russians are an adaptive enemy.
Reality forced some large part of their adapted approaches, but they are thinking.
So are we.
Tanks/mechanized forces made a lot of miles initially, but counters were effective. Artillery is gaining some ground now. Let’s see what the next phase will bring.

For those that imagine there are only four launchers - understand the ZSU has 12 wheeled launchers: 4 Transporter Erector Launchers or TELs with 3 launchers each - with the addition of the 4 more US units, the ZSU will have 24 launchers.
The trick will be in how they use them - random targets of opportunity or collectively used to systematically wipe out the Orc’s LR 152mm 52caliber artillery sector by sector. Most of the Orc artillery is short ranged 122mm tubes - these are covered by the LR artillery which there a comparatively few. Taking the LR artillery out puts the Orcs at a disadvantage
