NYT Editorial Board Member Freaks Over Donations to ‘Seditious’ GOPers Who Objected to 2020 Election

A New York Times editorial board member lost his marbles over companies reportedly donating to GOP candidates who challenged the 2020 election results.

Times editor Alex Kingsbury mourned how the “pause” that companies placed on donating to Republican lawmakers who were 2020 objectors was “short-lived.” His blog, “Who Is Financing Trump’s ‘Big Lie’ Caucus? Corporations You Know,” appeared to take issue with who Americans decide they want to support in any election cycle if, in his view, they have the wrong politics. “Giving equally to both parties sounds good. But what if a growing faction of one political party isn’t committed to the rule of law and the peaceful transfer of power?” This statement begs the question of what Kingsbury thinks of this January 2017 headline from Politico: “House Democrats fail to muster support to challenge Trump’s Electoral College win.” A Jan. 6, 2021 op-ed published in Kingsbury’s own publication made an important point that he chose to ignore: “after the 2000, 2004 and 2016 elections, [Democrats] objected to counting electoral totals [too].”

In Kingsbury’s view, “[r]eturning to the status quo where corporate money flowed to nearly every politician elected to office isn’t just unseemly; it is helping to fund a continuing attack on our democracy.” Kingsbury belched up “kudos'' to the small minority virtuous companies who “stuck to their guns” and still refuse to donate money to the so-called “seditious” GOP’ers. "That’s what responsible corporate citizenship looks like. It’s also patriotic," he bleated.

What about the seditious NY Times that participated in the Trump/Russia collusion hoax?

Every time I hear “the NYT Editorial board” it reminds me of the part of the Pepto Bismol ad where the guy sings, “diarrhea”.

The NYT editor is very confused about who is engaging in sedition and what form it takes. I think he (or her) should point the finger at self.

The more they scream that the election was not stolen, the more obvious it becomes to the rest of America that it was.

They have essentially become a bunch of carnival barkers yelling at us to not look behind that curtain.

With the current way of thinking and acting by democrats, there should be no problem, and Biden (with the approval of the democrat congress), should issue an executive order to stop corporations (and even people), from supporting republicans and/or any non-democrat.

Biden is illegitimate, was not elected, is not president.

House and Senate are largely illegitimate also in that most supported the election fraud coup.

Notice the rats/MSM have their new propaganda wedge words. Election fraud= The Big Lie, those who talk about the steal= Deniers. The left have used the “denier” very effectively with the climate BS. It’s almost illegal to question the fraud that is the global warming hoax.

The premise of a 2020 Presidential election taking place is also false. Fraud vitiates.

Remember this NYT, #notmypresident?

Yeah, karma is a mofo, yeah, especially as it regards BidenIdiot and the established proof of his illegitimacy.

I agree with this guy. Nobody should donate to the Democrats who performed an undemocratic coup to usurp the presidency.

"NY Times that participated in the Trump/Russia collusion hoax?"

Yup, you'll never hear a word about how wrong they and MSNBC and other media were so wrong. I'm still waiting for CNN to admit they were wrong about Avenatti, their 24/7 guest and potential presidential candidate. That scumbag is currently rotting in jail for stealing from his clients.

CNN can sure pick them. We all knew he was a shyster, but he was suing Trump...so all good.

But what if a growing faction of one political party isn’t committed to the rule of law and the peaceful transfer of power?”

First, 'the rule of law' has nothing to do with 'following the law'. The rule of law has to do with all of us being equal before the law - something democrats do not believe in. (If the rule of law was about 'following the law' every two bit totalitarian country from Iran to North Korea would have 'the rule of law'.) Also, Trump felt there had been voter fraud. Gore was concerned about 'bad counts' too.

Period.

Many of us feel democrats have a history of voter fraud... go to a library and read up on Chicago and the Kennedy election. Democrat thugs can't erase paper and cardboard books. As far as 'transfer of power' is concerned, Trump and his wife left the White House on the exact day they were suppose to leave. Yes, to those of us in flyover ACTIONS matter more than cheap words and projections and thoughts and musings.
