Yes, anyone thinking they will maintain control through something like this is absolutely delusional. It would bring a huge portion of the population to a place where civilization literally has nothing to offer them, and that includes the military.
The guy who can feed people would gain their allegiance, not an abstract leader thousands of miles away. This is why it hasn’t been so long ago that the usual system of government was feudalism.
And if they actually succeed in drastically reducing the human population they are going to find that everyone’s standard of living is reduced to something very similar to what it was when the population was last at that level.
Many technologies require a large enough population to support a lot of specialization. That includes agricultural technology. One thing it would absolutely bring to an end is the legions of useless people producing nothing of value.
Most of those trillions are disproportionately funneled to the Chuggites.
Keeping them above the cost of living.
What’s left the rest are being expected to force work it off.
But the Millennials have had enough and are losing money by just going to work.

They won't be able to escape the wrath of the public which will then have a common enemy to direct their rage at. The elites with money will go to places like New Zealand and other isolated places where the flow of people and travel can be tightly controlled. They will have to live an isolated existence. A kind of self-made prison. At first it will be okay but then it will get ugly. Those who stay here will be done for unless they can somehow blend in without anyone knowing who they are.
Once law and society breaks down there will be no laws or police to stop the mobs. The elites who caused all this will only have themselves to blame.
Today will be the good old days. Well, up until Jan. 20, 2021 anyway. I guess even today will be considered good when it all goes bad though.
There’s NEVER in the history of mankind, been a fiat currency to survive. They all go to zero. Some take longer than others, but the result is the same. Generally along the way there’s lots of social welfare spending and military misadventures, and quite the party. Until there isn’t.

The power base of USA is the big 1000 corporations. Only USA has Tesla, Apple, Google, etc.
False comparison. History did not have benefit of large highly profitable corporations. Strength of USA is not the government, it is the corporations. No one has likes of Apple, Tesla, Google etc.
