Had a huge military cargo plane fly overhead a couple days ago. Low (we live near a lake) and wow did it shake everything gojng by.
Way back inmthe 80’s I was out ice fishing one winter and me and friend heard a loud rumble headed our way, and 2 military jets buzzed the pond quite low that we were on. The noise was unrealz.. it was a once in a lifetime sight-
If you went into this movie expecting a great story and Oscar winning acting performances………..ok………………..I guess……………
Saw it at IMAX and had a blast. I enjoy larger than life action sequences and hot women. But the plot was so tired! Whatever.
Or maybe we just enjoy being entertained without getting all anal about it.
Lolyep a lot of the old shows were really cheesy stunts. Used to watch the a-team, and knightrider, and airwolf and such- 6 million dollar man, bionic woman , wonder woman etc- it certainly,was the “cheesy era” of tv

Two effiminent guys who think they are sexy, tough, ladies-men, but really aren’t.

There are a lot of private jets that take off from this airport behind us. Gulfstreams, etc. These two were twice as loud.
Every once in a while a pair of A10s will do a fly by. They were stationed down in CT. They go up in the White Mountains and fly through a designated mountain training area.
These were louder than A10s.
Over east of here in Portsmouth, NH at the former Pease air base they still have an Air National Guard refueling tanker group. These are the flying gas tanks. They have a 12m’ runway over there. It takes every bit of that runway to get those things off the ground.
Our politics is becoming like a comic book in the sense that bit is increasingly based on fiction and exaggerations.
Awhile back there were reports he had left. Now it appears he may be “in the process of leaving...” Sad. I thought he had left.

Eight of them landed and took off again yesterday at BIA (Bangor International Airport). Hell of a racket! Makes ya proud... :o)
That is an air show in San Francisco with a move they always do.
I thought it was lousy. I was calling out the plot before it was happening. In the bar scene it was obvious that the fun loving cut-ups that were joking around would end up being Cruise’s “crew.” Just one example. Very predictable.
What I found really annoying was all the close-ups. Their FACES were 12 feet tall! And it wasn’t just the stars, it was all of them! You could count the pores in their faces!
Maybe two of them took a detour over Nashua.
I suspect they are from either Otis Air Force base on Cape Cod or Westover AFB on the west side of Springfield, MA.
