Luhansk Gov. now rules about 2% of the Lugansk province — specifically Lisichansk.
Most of Ukes abandoned Sievierodonetsk leaving behind all the tanks and artillery, they used cars stolen from the civilians. Per today’s news from the Russian side, 70% of this town have been cleared from landmines already.
Now, Lisichansk — which is the last town in the Luhansk province under the Nazi control — will be more difficult. It is indeed surrounded so the Ukes have no “run” option, only surrender or die.
But dailymail.uk says Ukraine is winning bigly

Gotta love how the media PIVOTS on a dime. Literally ALL of the Western Media said that the Mariupol Steelworks was EVACUATED (implying an orderly withdraw to friendly territory). Then a few videos came out of the people being loaded on to Russian buses, so 24 hours later ALL of the Western Media, at the same time, admitted it was a SURRENDER.
So, those of us who go off the Western Media grid for honest reporting are not at all surprised by yet another PIVOT.

Anyone with a brain knew that the propaganda wasn’t going to last forever ... The Severo mayor reported that the Russians stormed the city last night and today control the residential/business areas which is over half the city.

There is not a war in history you could not dig into and find immorality or unethical underpinnings in its start, middle or end.
All that matters, all that ever matters, is winning. I don’t care about neo Nazis shelling since 2014. I don’t care if there was a coup in 2014. I don’t care if Russia invaded in 2022.
None of it matters.
All that matters is
1) in 40 years all anyone will know about it is who won
2) in 40 years it will be clear Russia’s land surface are ensures they will run out of civilization’s lifeblood last. They will have oil after everyone else does not.
3) in 40 yrs the US will need that oil to power tractors that plant food and will intensely regret trashing Russia and making a long term enemy of them. It’s biting the hand that will feed you.

True. Except for the last two weeks, Russia has been gaining ground around Luhansk. They took Popasna, which means Lysychansk is 3/4 surrounded. Eastern Ukraine is in a bad situation right now.
Watch Putin offer to deal a treaty now to seal his gains.
