Military defense is one of the few things tax payer money should be spent on, whether that's to prepare our own military or prepare the military of our allies who are killing our enemies for us. We should be modernizing our Nukes just like the Russkies and Chinese have been doing. We should be preparing for war so that there will be peace. It's western weakness in the first place that encouraged the Russians to invade, and now the Chinese may do the same to Taiwan before November per alleged leaks of a CCP meeting ordering China into a war state.
We could be in WW3 before the end of the year and you assholes will be sitting here blaming the USA for starting it!

I have been consistent on Russia, if not on this forum, then everywhere else, for some 20 years now.
Russia is a mortal threat against the USA that has been preparing for a global conflict with us since the fall of the so-called Soviet Union.
All the same criminals that were running the Soviet regime arae still in control under modern Moscow.
They have robbed and brutalized their people, killed journalists, killed innocent women with bullets to the head, aided and supported our other enemies across the world: North Korea, Iran, China, the Latin communists, including terror groups like FARC. According to Alexandr Litvinenko, Russia trained a high level Al-Qaeda leader at an FSB base before 9/11 and was likely privy to the attacks.
I oppose Russia and support everything that harms Russia because I recognize that Russia is our mortal enemy. It's as simple as that. It has nothing to do with being a "NeoCon." I was one of the loudest and first Trump supporters on this website when this forum was still divided between Trump and Cruz. I don't think we even have NeoCons here other than a very small minority.

Read up on the superior, drought tolerant, and ancient Syrian wheat. It is non GMO, and so precious there are seeds to preserve its survival stored in seed banks.

But the West DID try to negotiate with them, for the past 8 years, and gave Russia everything it wanted with regards to Minsk. This resulted in an invasion once Biden came to power since he was perceived as the weak President. "Negotiations," meaning a ceasefire with Russia, would result in the annexation of large chunks of Ukraine and a third invasion in a few years.
The psychology of how totalitarian regimes work should have been learned by you from your study of WW2, the Cold War, and virtually every agreement we've made with the Russians which they have violated in some fashion, whether it is on nuclear missiles, ABM systems, or the simple human decency expectation that you do not travel into a western country and murder people with Polonium 210.

Since that was the case, what was the rush to invade Ukraine? Very simply, because Russia planned for a spring warfare and a quick defeat of Kyiv, and the NATO excuse was merely a pretext.
As for NATO in general: Russia has violated every agreement they have ever signed with us, and with their allies China, North Korea, Iran, etc., they have been steadily preparing for WW3 with their nuclear forces. Consequently, NATO never had a reason NOT to permit the entry of Poland, Lithuania, etc., into the alliance. Russia has never been a good faith party but has always been aggressive, deceitful and dishonorable, much like its posters here on FR.

In Kaliningrad, Russia placed nuclear weapons directly on the borders of NATO. Russian submarines and nuclear bombers routinely ghost our air space for years. Russians have placed anti-ship missiles just a few short miles off of Japan and have done joint Chinese-Russian exercises just miles off the Japanese coast, even just recently when China was threatening to nuke Japan.
Why is it okay for Russia, in cooperating with China, to threaten us and our allies with a nuclear holocaust but we can't have NATO?
News flash, the cold war ended in 1989 shortly after that the USSR broke apart into several nation states one of which is Russia. Russia is not the USSR and is not the sworn enemy of the American people. It is neocons that are the enemy of the American people. How childishly naïve. Russia's preparation for war, its enabling support of countries like China, Iran, North Korea, etc., did not end in 1989. They accelerated under the cover of "liberalization!"
