Putting something on a rail to make a train derail doesn’t sound very difficult.

A quick look online and I found that a single average farm uses between 4 to 5 tons per year.

“Several tons” is not going to be a big impactor.

One sure way to distract us from paying attention to what is actually happening is to generate hand wringing over what seems like an issue when it isn’t.

Isn’t potash, when needed, usually applied weeks before planting or in the fall?

This shipment is likely intended for September winter wheat planting, I’d guess.

Potash is used at those times.

I mixed it into other chemicals in a decent sized fertilizer setup used in my county.

I had no idea potash was used for planting. We use it in our zinc plating baths

Used to condition the soil well before planting. It’ll burn up plants if applied too near to planting or on grown plants. This shipment wasn’t for immediate use unless industrially.
