Ukraine has been a cancer on the American body politic for nearly 20 years. It truly metastacized under Trump. The fake Steele Dossier, impeachment, Hunter Biden's corruption, Mueller, the Vindmans, etc.. all had roots in Ukraine.
If someone, anyone will exercise this deep-state cancer on our republic, then YES - please take the whole f***ing country of Ukraine.

Izyum is turning into a trap for the Soviets as the Ukies are close to surrounding about 20,000 orcs and either reducing them or forcing their surrender.
If the Soviets lose 20,000 troops in one action then this war is going to have to end for Putin. Zelensky will be able to force the Soviets to retreat from all of eastern Ukraine and then he’ll be able to pivot to retaking Crimea.
If the war doesn’t end soon then pretty quick here we’re going to see Ukrainian forces moving across the border to secure rail heads, supply depots, fuel depots, airfields, and etc.
The fortunes of war are now favoring Ukraine. Especially given that the Soviets have to keep some forces in reserve to put on a show for Finland.

Odd compilation of various frauds under the “Ukraine” banner - you sound like the Left’s “systemic racism” purveyors.
The reality is - Ukraine is no more corrupt (and honestly - is significantly less so) than Russia.
The truth is - Ukraine was muscling in on some of Russia’s prime cash endeavors and Putin can’t stand it. Add that to Putin’s declining health and longstanding vision of a restoration of the Soviet Union... and you have the motive for this war.
And here’s the kicker (having been there, having met many Ukrainians across a wide swath of geography, demographics, and even faiths) - the people there are far more offended by corruption than Americans. Sadly, between Russian meddling (which makes US/CIA meddling look sophomoric) and the horrible condition the nation was left in (international organizations invented a new term - “4th World” - to describe the former Soviet block nations after they declared independence from Russia) and desperately seeking an avenue to develop economically - rooting out corruption and Russian influences has proven a mess.
The alternative you present is to believe Putin’s disinformation and propaganda. Wow... speaking of “don’t ever claim to be a “conservative”... take your own advice.
If “conservative” means rooting for the reconstitution of the Soviet Union, as opposed to its defeat (you know, like Reagan?) then no thanks.

I have heard the same childish, simplistic cliches about boogeymen, dictators and needing to helping downtrodden folk in distant lands “develop economically” about Serbia, Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, etc... All failed foreign policy disasters.
And here we go again, only this time, promoting war with a nuclear power, right on its borders.
