For the US Army a delay from call to pulling the trigger was 5 minutes in WW2, 15 minutes in Vietnam and thanks to all the JAG nonsense 60 minutes now.
Ukrainians took all this wonderful research Amazon and Uber have done and their just-in-time solution delivers shells or rockets 30 seconds after target has been confirmed.
That is a a phenomenally good read. I love the ingenuity.
