The Ukranians will probably weather the food crisis...their biggest problem is presently being shot or bombed.
It's the people who they supply that are in trouble.
I read yesterday tha 97% of Afghans are already suffering from shortage of food.
It looks like my neighborhood farmer has only plowed about 2/3's of the acerage that he normally farms. A third is sitting doing nothing. This is the farmer with the huge John Deere tractors and combines.
He normally grows corn, soybeans, cotton and peanuts.
Wow! So far only 8 people have commented on one of the greatest problems to be inflicted on the world for many decades. Has your neighborhood big farmer told anyone why they have only planted 2/3rd their normal amount of land? Is it because of the fertilizer shortage? I wonder how much this will cause hunger in countries that actually border Russia, that might actually begin hostile activity against Russia? I’m thinking especially of the former Soviet Stans.
