Twitter and Facebook worked in lockstep to restrict the flow of the Hunter Biden laptop story just before the 2020 presidential election. These platforms stifled the spread of that story at the same time that Big Media did, as MRC research found.
Facebook’s suppression broke the platform’s own fact-checking policy, and Twitter’s attempt to cancel the story so outrageously violated content moderation norms that it drew criticism from the likes of leftist Poynter Institute fact-checkers. Even then-Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey criticized his platform after the fact.
Facebook spokesperson Andy Stone announced the platform had preempted third-party fact-checks on the Hunter Biden story the day it broke on Oct. 14, 2020, and limited its spread moving forward. Stone has a long history working directly for Democrats, and Facebook’s hair-trigger, broad-brush blackout blatantly broke the platform’s content moderation policy.

I think we all suspected it, but now after Musk’s attempt to buy Twitter, we find out that it is true.
Twitter is an enterprise paid for and supported financially by the federal government.
My guess, Facebook is too.

I’ve been trying to find a shorter version of Hunter Biden’s story that I can send to a democrat I know.
Was only a matter of time. But media still won’t put it on morning or evening news. When that starts the house of cards falls. If they reported the truth. Trump would be president. And the fraud would have been released and people would be in jail. Which is why it’s not reported. To many in on it.
Am thinking the HB laptop story is meant as the basis to remove Brandon with minimal damage to the Democrat brand. The Dems want to claim the corruption is all in the Biden clan, not in the core Democrat politburo. Just my 2¢ worth.
Good angle on that. But we all know politicians and bureaucrats all around the Beltway have hundreds if not thousands of family bagmen running pay to play schemes. Ultimately it’s funny if the currency in this pay to play play happens to be the Bidens alone? I mean the Bidens are pikers compared to the Clinton’s, Bush’s, State Department bureaucrats, Pelosi, Boxer, McConnell. So now the commodity is who’s got what on which laptop? Blackmail.
I also think if Biden gets clipped on pay to play schemes, the Republicans will have to offer up a few of their own in trade. That’s how Democrats roll.
