Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) published a concerning report that states that terrorists may have gotten their hands on some very deadly nerve agents stored away in stockpiles. The reports [see below] don’t explain when or how the alleged terrorists might have gotten ahold of the stockpiles but it certainly makes me wish that US borders were still secure.
OSHA’s report reads; “Because of recent terrorist events, many workers have expressed concern about the possibility of a terrorist attack involving nerve agents. In 1995, twelve people were killed when the nerve agent sarin was released in the Tokyo subway system. The following frequently asked questions will help workers understand what nerve agents are and how they may affect their health and safety.

OSHA will mandate vax for nerve agents.
I suppose there is a reason that we even have it.
does anyone know what that might be ?
Let’s see…Am I more afraid of one rogue guy with a chemical weapon? Or one million whites coats forcing chemical weapons on my children?
The OSHA "report" is actually their Nerve Agent Guide:
"Why are we concerned about nerve agents as a terrorist's weapon? There are large stockpiles of nerve agents which, if obtained by terrorists, could be released using bombs, explosives, spray tanks, or rockets."
It never says "terrorists may have gotten their hands" on nerve agents at all. It is an outline on the dangers of chemical agents because OSHA has to say something about them.
The U.S. had large chemical weapons stockpiles. Had, meaning past tense. Since 1997 we've been getting rid of them, US Chemical Weapons Stockpile Elimination: Progress Update :
"Since becoming a signatory to the Chemical Weapons Convention in 1997, the United States has worked steadily to destroy its declared chemical weapons stockpiles. As of May 2021, the United States has destroyed 96.52% of its Category 1 chemical weapons stockpile and all of its Category 2 and Category 3 chemical weapons. The United States is the last of eight declared stockpile possessor states to complete its safe and permanent demilitarization of chemical weapons."
Don't forget the fact that the more dangerous chemical weapons are kept on Army bases. It makes it a little hard to steal them.
That release from OSHA is pretty vague on details. Who? What? When? Where? How?
For nerve gas, maybe double up. And, of course, wear gloves to be sure. (jk)
At least 3 mask resisters in that shot.
How about MANPADs and ATGM handed to every idiot at Polish-Ukrainian border?
“How about MANPADs and ATGM handed to every idiot at Polish-Ukrainian border?”
If Russia departs the whole of Ukraine then your worries about those weapons would be lessened considerably.
Otherwise don’t be surprised if some Ukies make their way into Russia and start shooting down Russian airliners.
That’s Dennis hopper.
There’s an Army facility near where I live that does indeed have a stockpile of chemical weapons (which are in the process of being destroyed).
Terrorist stealing them would try to get to New York City with the goal of killing 1,000,000 people.
I think it’s more likely that terrorists would try to steal some, fail, release the gas, and kill 5,000 Central Kentuckians.
The New York Times would yawn.
Of course not. But I am looking forward at all the stuff shooting down both military and civilian stuff in the US and Europe.
Is that my “chicano”?
Just another avenue to easily exploit.
Not much chance there. I think about all I know is what George C. Scott told me in Patton.
That was hilarious. I’ve seen the Cheech & Chong movies, but never saw Born in East LA.
Hyperbole. I suspected as much since no pertinent details were given.
There are people who eat this sensationalist garbage up with a fork and spoon. They get off to it for some bizarre reason.
