If our insiders are unwilling to overthrow our own sick, incompetent, corrupt leader, why should Russian insiders do so to Putin?
And, he’s still 99.9% sharper than Joe Biden and uses a comb more often than Boris Johnson.
I don’t think it’s complicated. Putin says what he wants tells his resources to go do it, but sometimes it doesn’t go according to plan. He said he wants greater Russia back, and has been working on that for the last decade. Russian nationals have colonized many of the former Soviet republics like the baltics, Central Asia, Nistria, Georgia, etc. I think he’d have a hell of a time on his hands if he tried to go re-take the islamic or turkic republics like Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kirghizia (Kyrgyzstan), Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. Tsjikistanis are iranian.
Trying that again after Afghanistan imho would get the federation president very quickly involuntarily and permanently retired.
Self fulfilling prophecy.
Kind of how it worked with Nixon.
Anyone who would question this is “Putin’s puppet.”
Just ask Hillary and her spammers on Freerepublic.
Don’t worry - Milley and Austin are on it.

And we can count on MUTINY milley to call CCP China for instructions.
After all, MUTINY milley knows the CCP can be trusted to give good advice./s
I’ll always remember reading Forsyth’s first novel, The Day of the Jackal, in 1972. It was absolutely impossible to put down. I read it through the night and into the morning until I finished. The whole day was shot. One hell of a book.

Bombarding a civilized nation into dust is not a declaration of victory.
Rainbow Milley is in contact?
Can anyone explain how this is possible?
I was under the impression that satellites could only be stationary above spots on the equator in geosynchronous orbit?
Not possible. A satellite cannot be both geostationary AND directly over a spot that is not on the equator. It’s orbit always HAS to be along the equator. I am surprised this little detail escaped such a world renowned author. At 83 maybe should cut him some slack.
“One hell of a book.”
Also a great movie.
This is flawed reasoning. Just because an enemy of mine has a position on something doesn’t mean I should automatically take the opposite position regardless of what that something is. It’s true that in a lot of cases our positions will be the opposite but it’s not a hard and fast rule.
There’s also a more modern version of the movie based loosely on The Day of The Jackal called ‘The Jackal’ . Bruce Willis is the main character.
The Ukraine war ends when Putin winds up on a slab
