GURMO Hackers Go Kinetic Against Gazprom - Two Pipeline Fires So Cyber operators at the Main Directorate of Intelligence at the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GURMO) have been conducting computer network operations (CNO) against Gazprom. At some point during Russia’s occupation of Ukraine, GURMO achieved access to Gazprom’s network and exfiltrated thousands of documents (samples to be released here in a later report).
As a result of their access, GURMO’s Cyber unit engineered a hack of the pipeline’s pressurization controls that would cause a pipeline to rupture resulting in a fire. To date, two pipelines have experienced rupture events that were directly the result of a computer network attack. These are the first publicly known examples of a computer network attack against an OT system resulting in a kinetic effect during wartime operations.

A person familiar with pipeline security told me that the typical focus is on the compressor stations where the attacker would change the set points for Hi and Low pressure, and modify the flow rate measuring units.

I was wondering why Ukes and abti-Russians hadn’t gone after the pipelines yet.
So cut off all gas flowing into Ukraine and on through to the EU. The Germans and Poles can either freeze, or have a little talk with the Uke retards.
So far Russia has not attacked any energy users. They did not shut down Gazprom 2, they did stop payment methods. They have not closed off any gas flows, not even to the Ukes.
All of the attacks on energy have come from the EU, the Ukes, and the White House.
Cyber-attack coming to a neighborhood near you, just in time to implement Democrat-designed "emergency voting procedures" this November. Naturally, our "intelligence community" will immediately identify the hackers as the exact same "Russian government officials" who hired all of those hookers for Donald Trump and cheated "Hillary!" out of her 2016 election win...
It will be May in three weeks so Europe as another 6-7 months before anyone freezes.
Poland gets only a small percentage of its gas from Russia now. They will phase out all Russian imports by the end of the year. Which makes them a lot smarter than the Germans.
