I hate to say this right now, but: Star Trek was always stupid. The only times I’ve watched it in my life after grade school were A) boredom or B) some guy I liked wanted to watch it.
Question your loyalty to ANY TV show or ANY movie. Do they feel loyal to you? (Do they even know who you are?)
The Original Star Trek wad tremendous.
The original wasn’t. It actually inspired people to become astronauts,engineers, and scientists.
You have the right attitude about franchise entertainment. Anything new and good will eventually be corrupted and ruined. Think twice about what you spend your idle hours watching.
