You stopped way before me! Cheers! 2000 was the year I finally had enough.
The wireless flip phone was the main thing that came to the mainstream public from the show.
Interesting. I hope also that they also went to Hollywood and let all the homeless finally in to the producers and writers of Star Trek’s homes. It would be racist not to.
Never mind the new Guinan accusing humans of “killing the planet”.
Yes, you're right.
Wow, I thought this was Babylon Bee material.
Perhaps part of it is that TOS was shot on film and processed that way. TNG I think was shot on video. I know the effects were all digital. A whole different way of doing things.
TOS also had a strong, bold color palette and strong light. Everything pops. TNG was pastels and soft light and it looks drab and weak.
Give me B5 and Crusade over any newer Trek except for DS9.
Picard always baffled me. They engineered warp drive and hadn’t cured baldness...or stupidity either.
I saw this over on Gab. It really did make me laugh, though other than Monty Python I have never really thought much about English stuff.

Wokism has fully saturated the the recent Star trek series Picard and Discovery. I still enjoy watching them. One cannot watch most hollywood movies these past few years as it’s an unwritten rule....no wokism, no awards.
Star Trek Enterprise went 4 seasons (2001-2005) and is worth watching.

. But Stewart and his peers will be dead before that happens. Hence, they don’t care.
All new Star Trek shows are 100% hot garbage picked up in New Orleans street on a Sunday morning. This is the opinion of a ST fan for 55 years.
On the other hand, The Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett are very, very good regardless of my opinion of Disney. And I really didn’t think much of the Star Wars movies as science fiction, particularly the later ones.
And it was very woke for its time.
I'm glad I never paid a dime to see this POS. The first season was free because I waited for it and watched it on Roku. It was...meh. Unimpressive.
LOL. Roddenberry was the original woke. TOS tackles a lot of cultural issues. The first interracial kiss was on TOS. Many episodes were against war. The whole series was commentary on our culture but set in the future.
A couple recent episodes of the Paramount+ series Star Trek: Picard featured Starfleet crew members traveling back in time to present day to beat up U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, free a busload of illegal immigrants on their way to be deported, and lecture that racism just “took off a hood and put on a suit” in the early 21st Century.
Star Trek Picard went fully woke.
