“ He’s both a passionate believer and intense critic of the service which is exactly what we need on Twitter, and in the boardroom, to make us stronger in the long-term,” he added

Translation: “Someone needs to help me get rid of this wild man. He is going to screw up everything we worked so hard to implement “.
Yeah. I use Twitter as a news feed. It’s easy to set up, just follow the right users.
1. Fire CEO Parag Agrawal and send him back to whatever s—hole country he emerged from. Would serve as an example to other wannabe Agrawals

put on your reading comprehension hat, try to detect sarcasm.

Far too many FReepers are reading comprehension challenged when it comes to sarcasm, spoofing, etc.
If Elon quits the board, that may telegraph his intent to attempt a takeover.

buy out.
“their business model is to spy on their customers. “
Indeed. Back when I had a twitter account and was basically an addicted to reading the feeds from Trump and my other favorites, it was unpleasantly surprising how much the ads tracked my location. If I were parked next to a Little Caesar’s I might see an ad for a deal on their pizza. If I were in a bar, I might see an ad for alcohol rehab. It was constantly obvious that you’re being tracked and observed by their algorithms.
I think it’s important to remember that Musk is not a ‘conservative’ or a ‘liberal’. Musk does what he thinks is right. He considers himself to be an evolved socialist.
So be careful who we’re elevating to the pedestal.
“I am actually a socialist. Just not the kind that shifts resources from most productive to least productive, pretending to do good, while actually causing harm. True socialism seeks greatest good for all.”
~ Elon Musk
Politics often create strange bedfellows. These ‘Fabian’ style socialists are a case in point. One example is George Orwell who was a socialist and a critic of totalitarian ideology. Where we tend to meet them in the public square is an agreement to uphold the ideals of classical liberalism; that is free speech, freedom of religion and thought, open and transparent government..etc...
I think this was a shot at taking down Truth Social before it gets started, Musk is a Globalist - many seem to forget that
Liberal heads are exploding.
The liberal Indian CEO is already kissing Musk’ a**.
Love it.
Purge all censors. Fire them all.

FR has censors.
Yes, I’m aware of that, but gosh, thanks for the FReepsplain.
So be careful who we’re elevating to the pedestal.
Where did you get any pedestal crap from my simple comment that anything that makes leftie heads explode is good thing?
Do I need to add you to the list of condescending know-it-alls who feel the need to go around “correcting” people? We already have too many of those. And they’re annoying little gnats.
dont take it personal bub
1. Shut Twatter down
2. Burn it to the ground
Done.
Buzz off, gnat.
Our ‘intelligence’ thugs leak to the press... for power and greed and if there’s ANYTHING IN THEIR FILES ON MUSK THEY’LL SLIP IT TO THEIR BUTT BOYS IN THE PRESS.
Elon Musk: “I hated the company so much that i decided to buy it!”
[btw, the left on Twitter are going berserk, so i’m sort of guessing that Elon is no longer the left’s electric vehicle messiah now that the hard left will no longer have a monopoly on social media speech ... apparently, having a monopoly for leftist thought on social media with all other points of view banned is far more important than “fighting climate change” ...]
True. I've not seen any blatant abuse of power on FR in my time here (since '98) nor flat out censorship/removal of anyone who's opinions differ from either mine or others on here. I've not seen that in my 24 years here.
What I see FR censors moderators do is limited and simple:
1. Protect FR from violating copyright claims, especially those specific to certain publishers who in the past pursued a claim against FR
2. Removes posts calling for death/harm of individuals, and honest, I don't recall seeing any of those types of posts on here.
Beyond that, what do FR Moderators "censor" from this wonderful site? This is the only platform I've been able to fully and freely speak my mind on since the day I joined. Non-stop. No "suspensions" or "time-outs", no "violation points" and with two exceptions that were well deserved, not a single one of my posts that stayed on topic was ever "censored."
Repeating: with the exception of two posts that deserved to be removed, I've not been hampered in any way from expressing my opinions which at times have walked a very fine line on here, and anywhere else would've been cause for removal on those platforms.
As far as I've seen, FR's Moderators do a fine job and should be the model for any platform that insists on having moderators. FR is the best social media platform, period. Twatter, Fascistbook, Instacrap and all the rest can bend over and kiss my lilly white ass.
I’ve was banned from twitter for fighting with commies. I was banned from Gab for fighting with fake Nazis’. I haven’t had a problem with FR moderators.
