The reason Ukraine was “building up” its military operations was because Putin tried to grab half of it through military force but was beaten back by Ukrainians to just a part of the Donbass area and the Crimea.

Hadn’t really thought about the physical difficulties of Russia shipping to and from China because they are already doing it. Yeah, Russia would be very much the junior partner/client state to China, but that doesn’t mean it wouldn’t happen. Pairing those two up its hard to see how that wouldn’t be the outcome, which is why I think it would be the outcome.

I have to say that the very loud Russian troll farm types that seem to be trying to create the GOP’s narrative has me worried about the next election, because the average voter is going to look at that and run a mile! The GOP should be the sensible party, otherwise the only way to tell left from right is the variety of foreign propaganda being spewed by a very vocal minority.
