I would be wary of the sniper talk. I don't think the Windsor Police have any snipers. I don't think the OPP sent snipers down, the crowd is conspicuously unarmed, this is Canada. Despite all the talk, the army is not going to get involved.

There were police on the roof of the Lebel building that overlooks that block of Huron Line. They would have been stupid not to put observers up there.

Short of foreign troops, Canada does not have the resources to quell a popular uprising like this.
