Yep - It winter and the snow falls-

Ask your Lefty friends if they know that the “earff” is CLOSER to the sun in the winter. See if that makes their heads spin a bit more.

15 degrees and 15 Mph wind
feels like -9 or so

Gotta go, hockey game in about 1 hr!
The young folks shovel the snoew off the ice early so the sun gives it a nice “clearcoat”.

... of the NORTHERN HEMISPHERE.

Perihelion is sometime in January, if I recall correctly. Winter in the northern hemisphere is thus milder, and summer also milder. Also: Partially explains why Antarctica is overall colder and less habitable than the Arctic.
