I agree, but it’s just common political sense that you focus first on taking the majority back, and then you have more “breathing room” to start picking squishy people to primary in the next election. There’s no sense in risking seats when we need every one we can get desperately right now. That is not to say that the risk won’t be worth it and even essential once we have the majority back.
