Yep. I remember when he murdered the student nurses, and that the one who survived was cringing under the bed. That was in 1966...a year after I graduated from high school.

One of the first convicts I ran into at Auburn prison in 1980, when I began working there as an officer was Winston Moseley, who had murdered Kitty Genovese in a NY City neighborhood. Ronald DeFeo, who murdered his family in Amityville, NY, was also an inmate while I was there. I worked there for a little over three years, before transferring to a prison closer to where I was living before I took the job.
