Good news. The Five is excellent and has been for many years. Yes, the losers of Juan Williams, Freak Rivera and other leftists spoil the party. But the sane people are brilliant and cut to the chase: Biden is a selfish punk who uses Americans for his personal gain. Period.

As someone who listened to almost all of Rush's shows for three decades, (I recorded them before I could get his podcasts), I'm certainly spoiled. None, yet, of radio or TV talk shows, have captured his mix of information, humor, current events, entertainment, and intelligent analysis.

That said, "The Five" comes a long way in this direction. I think it has as much to do with format as it does to hosts. I dislike the Piro's and Watters' beginning rants, endlessly edited and re-written by mindless 'associates', and the host then asks the guests not "What do you think about the topics?", but "What do you think about what I said". The only required answer: "I agree completely."

"The Five" removes this self-aggrandizing charade. The topics are limited by both the format and by the need to rotate among the hosts. Watters and Piro are both quite worthwhile listening to until their ego gets in the way. She will be great on this show.
