Hard for me to imagine.
I was married to my first wife for 47 years. She died in 2018. Married again about a year ago. This is a great one too. We both believe God put us together, we sure did not plan it.
She is as independent minded as I am. Blunt to a fault and she and I share the kitchen every day.
How could any man strike someone like that?
But I get your analogy.

Seems that way. However, there will come a time where there will be a "Burning Bed" moment much like the movie I remember as a teenager in the early 1980's. It's like Dad always told me where if you keep beating up people, one day they will turn and beat on you. The thing is, when will that be? That is the $64K question.
