Republicans are hand-wringing over former President Donald Trump’s hand-picked candidate Herschel Walker entering a critical Senate race. Surprisingly, Mitch McConnell isn’t one of them.
After vowing earlier this year to tangle with Trump if necessary to nominate electable GOP candidates in must-win Senate primaries, the Senate minority leader is tacitly blessing many of Trump’s endorsements. As McConnell surveys Trump’s picks in Senate battlegrounds, he's concluded that “I don't believe they're troubling.”

Apparently the threats to depose McConnell hit their mark.
McConnell is now attempting to get on candidate's good side...to secure his own position later.
China Mitch and the GOPe who aided and abetted the Rats’ in Election Theft 2020 is losing.
They are still fundraising for Lizard Cheney but they’re flaming out.
Mitch maybe old but he ain't stupid and knows that Trump could and would sink the turtle and his choice if he balks.

The NeverTrump GOPe think battles. Trump think in terms of all out no holds barred war. Trump is bringing in warriors to his side. The GOPe’s days are numbered. In winning the battle with Trump, they lost the war. Trump will be back at the helm, and this time with an army of his own making unleashing hell upon both the GOPe and the Dims.
This is pretty interesting but i will never trust Chyna mitch.
Its much more like the Turtle realizes he’s getting his ass kicked and decided to try to save face by pretending to back Trump’s candidates who were assured of trouncing his candidates anyway.
I curse obama for his two quotes about mitch and graham. Every time they pull a stunt i am reminded how obama was spot on about them in his book

What a concept, representatives who actually represent the people! I want to see more men and women who stand at Trumps side. He has been fighting this battle alone ( I know he has millions more of us behind him) he needs to have some who will help carry the load.

McConnell is a back-stabber. I hope Herschel Walker remembers that. Don’t trust any Congressional office holder with an R behind their name.

Maybe, maybe not. Money talks. President Trump is leading the fight to clean out the party but he has plenty of resistance.
Likely McConnell’s team ran a poll and liked what they saw for a general election matchup, and also looked at a poll for his standing in the primary and acknowledging reality.
