Question: If the statute of limitations was about to run out for Sussman, why is it not about to run out for the rest of the “gang?”
I've read the SOL doesn't run out in 5 years if there is a conspiracy. Durham charged Sussmann with one specific charge of making false statements to the FBI on a specific date. The indictment said he did the same thing at another government agency in Feb 2017 outside of DC. The clock is still ticking on that one. My guess is that Sussmann hasn't been cooperative and Durham is letting him know he will drain his ban account if doesn't cooperate. He is also sending notice to the Steele dossier players to come clean..
