They quietly moved out into the countryside, evaded taxes and other dictats as best they could, and then cheered on the barbarians when they passed by on the way to destroy the oppressive regime.

They already have. The first bunch were the unarmed protesters at the capitol. The left thinks these people were armed insurrectionists, and the strongest response the American people have to offer. The left isn't even ready for what the the second bunch would bring them.
No matter when that "jolt in the face" comes, it will be too late because the masses won't be prepared for serious conflict. They need need to prepare NOW. However, they sit back and guzzle beer and watch TV because they think they are prepared. They aren't.
A great song! The irony is that the “young people speaking their minds” of the song are the same ones that are currently undermining freedom and installing marxism in our everyday lives.
Keep in mind that it’s the “hippies” that are now in charge.

I agree. Look at what they are doing to the folks that were at the Capitol on Jan. 6th. Just wait until some folks really get serious with real weapons and not just signs and flags. It is going to be ugly and either doom this country or make a heck of a lot more folks take on the fight.
