I posted a week or so ago about the books I just finished reading about the battles we had over there (used from thriftbooks.com) and that was something that was mentioned in most of them - the guys who went out and who were supposed to fight beside our troops would leave when they got their paycheck - disappear - and in a week or two when their money was gone, would return to work. Very UNDEPENDABLE!
