I know several people who were finally awakened to social justice fascism when knitting became political. That it is racist to have so many white knitters in photos, you can have a pink sex hat but not a MAGA hat pattern, you have to put the latest icons on your page or we’ll shut down your Etsy business.

Wow, I would never have suspected that BML, antifa and SJW would be a concern in knitting circles. I would have thought there would be a fascination with sewing patterns, visual designs, the latest techniques, but not political culture slipping into the mix. Maybe it can’t be helped with the internet and mass media: people will talk and culture sneaks in. But the level of dirty tricks, name calling, etc. is disgusting from the left. You can have differences as in sports, but be polite and reasonable. But the left can’t because their underlying message is they won’t... they don’t respect you to have a modicum of decency.
