Storied U.S. gun manufacturer Smith & Wesson this week announced a record-setting fiscal year amid an ongoing gun-and-ammunition frenzy in the United States that has persisted since last year.
Company CEO Mark Smith said in a company earnings call on Thursday that the gun manufacturer in the past fiscal year "surpass[ed] $1 billion in sales for the first time in our 169-year history."
Smith said the company also posted "fourth quarter revenue of nearly $323 million," which he said was "the highest quarter ever on record and marks the fourth consecutive record-breaking quarter for the company."

I know that people find this something to cheer about...but it’s less a statement on enthusiasm for the 2nd amendment and more a statement on the current “survival mode” so much of our culture is on.
Joseph Stolen surpasses Steve Dunham as the greatest guns-and-ammo salesman of all-time.
Buy VSTO. #! ammo producer making American ammo. They can’t make enough. Ever.
I agree.
Americans are ready to go to war with each other.
Unfortunately, it’s likely the only option left to save the Republic, though I doubt we have the stomach for it.
“Americans are ready to go to war with each other.”
Well, that IS the plan, Comrade! ;)
I’m not falling for it, but I will NOT surrender and I will always protect my family and property. :)
When are all these profits going to start being invested into manufacturing the moost critical element of firearns, ammunition? Meet the shortages and make the product more valuable.
S&W should have an ammo brand in their company.
If they did that they’d take in a billion every year.
Nobody in their right mind wants it.
But reality is upon us.
Most of us like you would rather push up daisies than live under a total dictatorship.
“I will always protect my family and property.”
U GO gyrl...

Democrats are great gun salesmen.
How Remington failed to thrive is flabbergasting.
S&W has ventured into the ammo field in the past. And long guns. It never seems to work out when they stray from handguns.
Heck, in the Depression they even made toilet flush valves.
I like their AR’s even though it’s not my type of rifle.
In times like these though, ammo would be a huge profit maker I believe.
Tons of people sport shoot now. It’s like golf for some of us.
Exactly! And it would make them big profits. Establishing an ammo line would not require a massive capital investment either. A shortage of ammo affects demand for their products too.
I did my share to help.
👍
It’s not my freaking fault. I bought all mine before the wife (49 years) knew what the Blue and Silver S&W box meant. The little girl learned fast. The Model 19 was an anniversary present. 47 if my memory serves me, the K-22 Masterpiece is her favorite. When your wife starts digging two old timers it gets hard to sneak in a new one.
