A person believed to be among the highest-ranking defectors ever to the United States from the People’s Republic of China has been working with the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) for months, sources inside the intelligence community have told RedState on condition of anonymity. The defector has direct knowledge of special weapons programs in China, including bioweapons programs, those sources say.
The information provided to RedState corroborates and clarifies Thursday evening’s reporting by journalist Adam Housley.
RedState’s sources say that’s partially true. FBI Director Christopher Wray was “ambushed” with the information, they say, and Langley was also unaware. Sources say DIA leadership kept the defector within their Clandestine Services network to prevent Langley and the State Department from accessing the person, whose existence was kept from other agencies because DIA leadership believes there are Chinese spies or sources inside the FBI, CIA, and several other federal agencies.
Sources tell RedState the defector has been with the DIA for three months and that he has provided an extensive, technically detailed debrief to US officials. In DIA’s assessment, the information provided by the defector is legitimate. Sources say the level of confidence in the defector’s information is what has led to a sudden crisis of confidence in Dr. Anthony Fauci, adding that U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) personnel detailed to DIA have corroborated very technical details of information provided by the defector.
This is one alien that joe will probably arrest and send home.

OK, if this is true, why the heck would we know about it? It’s either to out the defector and/or detract from other more harmful news. On second thought, probably both.

He is not the FBI leaders I used to know and work with, nor are many of his top people including some field agents (others are outstanding).

The Defense Intelligence Agency has always kept itself independent of other agencies re the possibility of leaks, spies, and traitors being in them (esp. the CIA who handles most defectors and is most susceptible to enemy pretend defectors).
It is the intelligence arm of the Dept. of Defense, esp. the Army. My late friend and classmate Lt. Gen. Daniel Graham was once its head and also served a Deputy Dir. of the CIA, was well as one of the heads of military intelligence in Vietnam (which was pretty good in most cases). I don’t think he really trusted a lot of what the CIA produced because of various factors that made their sources suspect.
The FBI was the least penetrated federal domestic intelligence agency during the Cold War (it had a few domestic turncoats and a few agents who left and became critics, but not necessarily traitors though they teamed up with those who were not trustworthy - Ellsberg, Halperin, Ray McGovern, David Michaels or McMichaels and Phil Agee).
I met or heard some of these “critics” and saw who they were associated with and knew that many could not be trusted because of various forms of ties to Communist Party USA/KGB fronts and causes, esp. the Committee for Public Justice - i.e. old Stalinist bitch Lillian Helman, the Organizing Committee for a Fifth Estate (OC-5), Center for National Security Studies (CNNS) - Morton Halperin; and the red funded/infiltrated and guided Institute for Policy Studies (IPS - a source of Soros organizational leaders such as Robert Borosage and Morton Halperin, among others).
