23 years ago today, after lurking weeks, maybe months, yours truly, finally pulled the trigger and signed-on to what became my go to website for unfiltered information from like minds.
Thanks to JimRob, and his brother John, I've remained 'in the game' politically knowledge wise, and been able to maintain some level of sanity given the idiocy and bias of the mainstream media and their armada of sycophants wasting the airwaves.
23 years and counting, and yes, I am counting.
Thanks to those who proceeded me to the forum, and a very special thanks to both Jim & John's ability to keep the forum on the RIGHT path.

I have the same story ... probably could have been in the Class of 1997, but I barely squeaked into the Class of 1998. I hope most of us oldsters are monthly contributors.

I didn't sign on to FR until 2004 but I lurked around for 5-6 years before that.
When I retired {the first time in the summer of 2004} I had more time to putz around the computer and joined FR.
This place is essential for what little sanity I have left.
I have to come her to validate that my guy pals of over 60 years are really male and that only real females can have babies.
Crazy world, thanks to Jim and John for helping keep us semi-straight.

Congrats and Happy Anniversary from this newbie (20 years in 46 days)! I too was a lurker for several years prior and I THINK I remember having an earlier login but the ‘Sands of Time’ has drowned it! Such are the “Days of our Lives”!
