They changed Washington’s birthday to Presidents day.

They’ll change Memorial Day to Dead Peoples Day

More specifically, Dead Illegals Crossing The Border day. The symbol will be an empty plastic water bottle. Or maybe a diaper from the children abandoned by their parents to sneak across the border.

I’m gonna have to expose my ignorance, but isn’t Memorial Day supposed to be about memorializing our fallen war veteran’s: i.e. “Dead People’s Day”?
What am I missing?

I believe the holiday is still officially Washington’s Birthday, but since it rarely (does it ever?) falls on his actual birthday, Feb. 22, its usually called Presidents’ Day, since Lincoln’s birthday is the 12th.

Memorial Day used to be called Decoration Day—a day to decorate graves of the dead from the Civil War. Memorial Day broadened the idea to honor the dead of all wars.
