Nonsensical argument. Almost everyone has something else wrong with them that can be made worse or aggravated by outside factors. Like someone if someone gets attacked and knocked to the ground and they die from complications of having weak bones that shattered, it was the fact they had weak bones that killed them and not being attacked.
I witnessed it myself, personally for well over a year. Yes, I worked in the ICUs and I kept my eyes open. Maybe you are a Physician and know more than I do. I cannot know from here, but I assure you, it is not nonsense. It is completely valid.

So if I stabbed someone, they go to the hospital and get patched up but died a day later from the wound getting infected then I’m off the hook for murder? They died from the infection not the knife wound.
