Kapernick walked from an 8 figure contract with SF, he also turned down a back-up offer from Baltimore because they didn’t want to start him.
And I’d add they meyer kinda owes Tebow. He didn’t coach him up to be a NFL QB at Florida. He used the kid as a battering ram QB. Granted they won two titles but he didn’t learn how to throw for the NFL.
