Bingo. Schroder is wrong here. That employee was polite, and was just trying to do his job. He didn’t need or deserve a lecture from Schroder. If Schroder doesn’t like the store’s policy (as goofy and as wrong as it may be), he should contact upper-level management. In the meantime, go shop somewhere else.
I disagree. I think he did the exact right thing. And these people are actually paid pretty well...
