White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki is suggesting Joe Biden has not visited the southern border because there is reportedly low public interest in the matter.
During an episode of “The Axe Files” podcast, hosted by David Axelrod, Psaki touched on the situation at the border and why the president has not visited.
“What we’ve tried to do in general in thinking about how we use his time, is really think about what the public cares about. The public cares about the pandemic, the economy. We’re often asked, ‘Why doesn’t he go to the border?’ Important issue. We’re focused on it,” Psaki said.
She added, “What percentage of the public is focused on the border? A much smaller percentage than who’s focused on the pandemic and the economy. So that may be maddening, but, you know, that’s what we try to do.”

I’ve never cared about the “look I care” photo-op. There’s no reason to go some place, you can do things about problems without going there (not that he’s going to, but he COULD). These things are just for appearances.
I doubt Joe could find the border on his own.
Biden just needs to confuse and propagandize the people for another 3 1/2 years and then he can tag in Kamala for the next term.
When asked about whether he wanted to see the southern boarder, Joe replied: It depends on what she looks like. Does her hair smell nice? Is she under the age of 13?

Anyone thinks talking will get us out of this is just whistling past the graveyard. The left will not be talked to about anything, and as there are no consequences for their BS, will not stop. Why would they?

I do not think that it’s so much that the public does not care about what is happening at the border. It’s probably more that the “main stream media” is not covering it because the majority of Americans do not like what’s happening at the border. The propaganda press had no problem covering hour after hour after hour of what was happening at the border during the surge in the Trump administration.
