Your are very ignorant on this subject and should study the effects of this kind of tax increase. Everyone will be negatively affected, and the negative effects will hurt those paying this tax LESS than the rest of us.
Tax hikes always pound the Middle Class, the rich can always find ways to get around them.

I guess it depends which taxes. If it’s Social Security taxes now being raised on the wealthy suburbanites on the East and West Coasts (by removing the earnings cap), tough crap on them. If it’s income taxes being raised on millionaires...same. Both should think a bit harder before they vote and donate money to candidates. If it’s capital gains...then it probably does hurt the little guy at least as much, so I lean against that.
I realize that I’m generalizing and there’s both spillover into us normal people, along with many Trump voters in the upper reaches of income, but even so, I’m simply tired of being ridiculed by these jerks and if they don’t like what their ‘friends’ in government want to do to them, they can fight it for once, instead of hiding behind our side and then cashing in on the spoils when we do win.
