I’ll bet his CO just loves having him in his unit. If he uses this behavior against the authority of the police, just imagine how he responds to authority in the army. I don't know about the Army, but in the Air Force you have to really screw up to not get promoted to first lieutenant after about a year. I foresee four years of second lieutenant in Nazario's future.
