VA and NC laws on carry are almost identical.
IT still blows my mind that I worked with someone (older) who told me that bringing a gun to high school in North Carolina WAS REQUIRED as part of PE class when he was growing up. Where he lived, there was a real purpose to this; if you could hunt and shoot, you would never starve.
Number of incidents/accidents with injuries that happened while he was growing up there: 0.0.
