You start handing government this kind of power, and there will be many other things they suddenly “require” before you can do basic things...

I haven't heard of any US governments requiring anything.

Does Target have a right to know your medical history before you can go buy your kid a new backpack...

No, but they have the right to ask you if you've been vaccinated before you enter their property. You don't have to answer or get vaccinated, but they have the right to ask you not to enter if you refuse.

Just tell them that you need to use a trans friendly bathroom immediately.

I am the burdened party on an easement used by seven other families and their friends to access their properties.

According to you, I have the right to set up a booth and demand proof of vaccination before allowing them access.

“No, but they have the right to ask you if you’ve been vaccinated before you enter their property. You don’t have to answer or get vaccinated, but they have the right to ask you not to enter if you refuse.”

You sure about that? Is it only for the Covid vax, or can they keep out anyone for not having any vax? Ebola? HPV? If only for Covid vax, why only that one, legally?

That may be true for an FDA approved vaccine, but according to David Horowitz, Not according to the Emergency Use Law (June 25, 1938, ch. 675, §564A, as added Pub. L. 113–5, title III, §302(b), Mar. 13, 2013, 127 Stat. 183 ; amended Pub. L. 114–255, div. A, title III, §3088(c), Dec. 13, 2016, 130 Stat. 1149 ; Pub. L. 116–22, title VII, §705(c), June 24, 2019, 133 Stat. 964 .)

It’s not an approved product by the FDA. It’s just authorized by emergency use-which the law says that it must be optional.

Of course, I wouldn’t buy anything from a business who did this and if everyone else did the same, they’d likely change their policy. Walmart in our area sure did. Backed off their mask required and one way isles and it didn’t take long. Lots of people just went elsewhere, till they got the message and quit the nonsense.

Yeah, the problem with that argument though, is that the corporations are only doing it, and are only allowed to get away with it, because the GOVERNMENT is pushing it, and has already demonstrated that they will, through use of LEO’s, fines, etc., force compliance.

The problem with private social credit is not that it’s up to the individual business, but if that business is large enough, it can try to strongarm its suppliers into adopting that social credit as well, on pain of them being cut off. Likewise, a large distributor or supplier, like Amazon, can strongarm a small business into adopting its social credit, on pain of effectively tanking that business.

Thus, a vaccine passport is still troubling, even if THE GOVERNMENT doesn’t require it. De Santis is spot on.

Easy. With this kind of mindset, you just lie and say "yes". How would they know?

So, then they also have the right to ask if you are homosexual or Muslim, and deny you entry? My medical history/condition is private. Pound sand.
