He shows why he completely changed his political views.
Got a synopsis for those who don’t watch half hour videos?
He lived in China and was a liberal, but became very pro-American because if what he saw in China.
A 5 second synopsis.
He was fluent in Mandarin.
He experienced how everything in China is controlled by the Chinese Communist Party.
He experienced how it is Chinese Communist Party policy, that the Chinese people hate the United States, blame it for all the trouble in the world, and have as their policy the desire to destroy the United States and replace it as the world power.
He was amazed at how much hatred for he United States existed in China.
He realized that China becoming the foremost power would be a great evil.
So basically, they are Democrats??
I didn’t find a great deal of anti US hatred in China. I did one a great deal of identity politics. They believed they were unfairly treated from about 1850 until 1950 and wanted revenge.
This is a good watch - saw it the other day. Being a NorCal native, I know tons of people a lot like this guy... I wish they would wake up as much as this guy has.
I drove by a house with a Defund the Police sign in the window... if I were a burgler/home-invasion robber, I ‘d start there.
Boy, what he is describing in China, is what we see happening here in this country. Now we understand where this is coming from. The social media techs want to emulate the control the CCP has.
Big govt/big tech/big biz/and big media are all in accord with the Democrat talking points. It’s a sad state we’re in.
My wife is from China and I have spent a couple of months there. The found out that most Chinese people like Americans. I met an elderly gentleman who was a WW2 veteran. He came up to me and in perfect English told me how much he liked Americans.
Yes it is, very sad indeed.
The social media oligarchs, many businesspeople, and lots of our politicians are China’s puppets...
My wife is Chinese. I lived in Hong Kong and Wuhan. I have a PhD from a university in China.
We also lived in Singapore and on Guam.
Were you worried about Guam tipping over when you lived there?
Either that or they love the Chinese model of control. Either way, it’s against the American way, and bad for people and especially freedom.
I don’t have a problem with individual Chinese. It is the government and its ideology I have issues with, and anyone who supports it.
The most appalling part of this whole mess is that 30 years out from the collapse of the Soviet Union, we have a whole generation of gullible idiots who want to give it another try. They obsess over who did what to who hundreds of years ago and completely ignore the lessons of just 3 decades ago. If we get through this in one piece, we have to purge communism from the education system once and for all.
“I don’t have a problem with individual Chinese.”
Neither do I. I had hoped that the Chinese would take a different path where increasing freedom and prosperity would cause a kind of slow, soft revolution and war would become impossible because it would be too bad for business. But, this is not happening with the current crop of leaders, and the Chinese people don’t seem to be interested in doing anything about it.

They remember Tiananmen Square ... where over 10,000 were murdered at Deng’s order. Also because they know that, if they started a civil war, they might face over 40 million dead - as has happened in their past. Deng was a nice guy compared to Xi who is more Mao-like, viewing Han Chinese as all expendable to the survival of the CCP.
