A pollster who gauged Americans’ responses to President Joe Biden’s first press conference in real-time said that his replies to questions about running again in 2024 as well as former President Donald Trump cost him his campaign message of “unity.”
In a Friday segment with “Fox & Friends,” pollster Lee Carter went through grades given to Biden’s press conference from Democrats, Republicans, and Independents, noting that the Americans in the last two categories generally gave the president poor marks.
The most damaging to Biden, however, were remarks he made appearing to dismiss the GOP as a threat by 2024 as comments he made about his predecessor. Specifically, when he was asked if he thought he would face Trump next campaign cycle, Biden said he had “no idea whether there will be a Republican Party” by then....
Democrats gave Biden an “A” for the segment, while Independents handed Biden a grade of “C” and Republicans a “D.”...

Who cares? Biden is not the President.
Doesn’t matter a bit. So few people watched the event that the only thing they know is what the MSM tells them. They hear Joe was bright, articulate, presidential, sensitive, caring, and above all, NOT TRUMP. Those very few who actually watched are dedicated fellow travelers.
The comment I am hearing most is he was fast on his feet. There’s a joke there somewhere.

The Republican Party is not “a threat” in 2024 or in any other year. The Democrats own the voting process now with the approval of the USSC. There is nothing that can be done about it in the normal course of politics now or ever more. Eliminating filibuster and passing HR1 merely codifies a fait tout accompli.
My husband recorded the presser. I worked a 12 hour shift and came home and he pleaded with me to watch it with him. I protested and he said that we needed to see it for our own evaluation of Biden's performance.

I listened to it driving to the next town. I couldn’t help but laugh the whole time. It was so staged and rehearsed the press treated h better than Obama. I didn’t think that would be possible. He read his answers and even after “angry” on que to make him look human. I laughed so hard even though we are watching the last days of America.

Biden was never, by any standard, what you'd call "smart". And he's probably lost 50% of what little brains he had.

Can’t argue with any of that. The ones who ran the fastest and furthest were the big broad-shouldered hairy chested heroes who claimed the tip of the spear. If the Continental Army and founding fathers are spinning in their graves it isn’t over the thugs that stole America, they always expected them. It is,rather, over the degraded manhood of once great nation. Yellow bellies.
It IS the national press corpse’s rattling in their grave. They have no shame, but will emphasize that “A” grade that their adoring fans want them to give.
