Nah. Bill Maher’s schtick is to crap out a reasonable-sounding comment to bait conservatives and get retweets on Twitter as the sane lefty. Trust me, the guy has all the intelligence and charm of an unflushed stool.
Maher and evens some I. His audience, have very very brief flashes of sanity and common sense every now and again, but it quickly dissappears like the sands of time, these are the days of our lives. [OK ok I don’t remember how the opening dialog for the soap opera went lol]
They have signs up that tell the people what to do.
With COVID, many of the colleges went test optional, meaning no SAT or ACT score needed. Applications are way up to the Ivy league schools and other top colleges. The colleges are admitting more diverse students who have good grades, but no test score.
As acceptances and rejections come in, the upper middle class kids aren’t getting in at the rate they have in the past. It will be interesting to see how their parents react when little ‘Angel’ has to attend a ‘lesser’ school because of the new diversity they’ve been pushing for.

There is a sign over the stage telling the audience when to applaud. All live shows have them.

Funny you mentioned that because that is exactly what happened to my liberal brother. His daughter was prevented from enrolling in an advanced placement class because they needed to make room for minority students with lower graded. He couldn’t see the irony but Man, he was pissed.
I canceled my Twitter account months ago, and I don’t miss it a bit.
